Carcass
- the dead body of an animal

Corpse
- a dead body (of a person)
~ She screamed when she came across a corpse in the forest.
Roused
- cause to feel angry or excited
~ The crowd was roused to fever pitch when Ali scored the goal.
Unearth
- find something in the ground by digging
~David was ecstatic when he unearthed the treasure.

Makeshift mass gravesite
- a temporary cemetery
~ Pulau Bukom turned into a makeshift mass gravesite after the disaster.
Promptly
- done without delay
~ Pupils should hand their homework promptly.

Stank
- past tense of stink
~ The toilet stank of a dead carcass.
Domestic
– anything that is related to a person’s home or life
~ The man was charged by the police for a case of a domestic violence.

Post-mortem
- an investigation of the cause of death by a doctor
~ The 25 year old man was given a post-mortem by the doctor.

Exhume
- dig out (something that is buried; especially of a corpse) from the ground
~ The body of the young lady was exhumed for another post-mortem as the police suspects foul play was involved.
