Unit 1 - Worksheet 3
Greetings 6F-lings (ala earthlings),

Please do read pages 8 to 10 of the English textbook (if you had not concientiously done so ~ don't let me nag in the blog. it'll be ugly :P) and if you have any queries, please do ask me tomorrow.

These are the corrections,

1) Anne kept her promise to look after the old woman.

2) Janet hoped to have enough money to visit her relatives in China one day.

3)The detective wanted to solve the mystery before it became dark.

4) Aunt Agatha was too upset to say anything.

5)James was too excited to sleep that night.

6) Josh looked out of the window to check if it was raining.

7) To get a better price for her purchases, Mrs Ridwan argued with the fruit seller for an hour.

8) Ravi went to the library to borrow a book on how to make a kite.

9)The Principal counselled the boys to help them realise their mistake.

10) Ali worked hard to win the first prize.
